This is a great idea and format, etc looks excellent already. You are to be congratulated for jumping into the blogosphere with both feet and I know this will be a real contribution to the discussion of important policy issues. For my own benefit, I hope you continue the focus on financial services. As you know, with over 130 new regulations and 32 studies required by the soon to be new law, there will be plenty to write about.

I’m surprised you guys don’t have a contact e-mail… I don’t either… I am too sensitive to criticism and don’t want to battle commenters. Lawrence (I noticed you referred to yourself as Lawrence in a response once, so I am assuming you are comfortable with that. I know you have worked hard for your degrees and deserve the respect of your titles, but I like call you by your first name if that is cool). I wanted to talk some things in an e-mail to you Lawrence about some personal issues I have. Suffice to say, I am having “Some of the dog that bit me” now and since I don’t know how to e-mail you, if I ever cross the line I am sorry, and you have my open permission to delete or even block my comments if it becomes a problem to the site in the future. I really appreciate you and Miss Taub’s blog though.
"that which is common to the greatest number has the least care bestowed upon it. Every one thinks chiefly of his own, hardly at all of the common interest; and only when he is himself concerned as an individual. For besides other considerations, everybody is more inclined to neglect the duty which he expects another to fulfill"
Lawrence,
